Located in Ballater, Aberdeenshire. Ballater has changed very little since Queen Victoria regularly spent so much time in her favourite castle at Balmoral. The village is ideally placed for walking in the Cairngorm Mountains, a peaceful drive around the Castle Trail, or a visit to Lochnagar Distillery or the Whisky trail beyond. Ballater Golf Club is within easy distance and famous courses at Carnoustie and St. Andrews are only a scenic drive from here.Built of local granite in 1886, the house was named after a steamship by its Purser when he retired from the sea. There is a peaceful lounge and dining room overlook the front flower garden and lawn for guests to enjoy.
