Founded in 1910, the Gray Line USA had started with bus sightseeing tours in Washington DC, then soon expanded its activities to global countries.
To be a member of the chain, each tour operator must have been a local tour expert in their area, qualified thoroughly by the Gray Line Directorate. Hence after a century the Gray Line is being active in very different travel forms, including charter services, airport transfer and convention organization. With nearly 800 locations based on six continents, it becomes the world's leading providers of sightseeing tours nowadays.
Upon its 100th year anniversary, the Gray Line has welcomed a new, leading Vietnam's DMC into the team as a master licensee, operated throughout the country and on Halong Bay in the end of 2013.
Different from the traditions of bus excursions and sightseeing tours of the corporation, the Gray Line Halong has set sails for the overnight junk on the sea, with various size from 1 to 14 deluxe cabins. Each cruise featured by a unique kind of activities, inclusive of original sea routes, visits to fishing villages or Pearl farms, and spontaneously friendly meetings with the local communities.
After five years of operation, the Gray Line Halong now is a leading safe and sound cruise , which explore the centrally protected area of Halong Bay with large grottoes into one trip and frequently extend their activities off the beaten tracks on the sea, aiming to ensure the top leisure for travelers. In pursuit of key values, Gray Line Halong is family-focused offering a wide range of cabins that fits families, couples and small-sized groups.
Appx. 70% of the Gray Line guests had remarked that they felt relaxed at our low guest-to-crew ratio on-board and would love to return to Halong Bay or introduce their friends to experience the itineraries with the Gray Line Halong. For the crew, that award is far more excellent than any motivations they want to receive constantly.
