ANCON BEACH

The Peninsula of Ancón, is located 12 km south of Trinidad.
It is bathed by the currents of the Caribbean Sea that has formed 4 km of white and fine sand in which today is without a doubt, one of the best beaches on the southern coast of Cuba: Playa Ancón.
Sea baths, tanning and all kinds of facilities for water sports make Ancon Beach one of the most visited places in southern Cuba.





Its excellent seabottom, steep relief and big concentrations of black coral, can be explored by diving enthusiasts at more than twenty dive sites.




Also nearby is the Marlin Trinidad Marina, an efficient center that offers tourists beautiful excursion in the area and organizes fishing trips near Cayo Blanco, place with abundant marine fauna.


This complex also provides a safe port for boats up to 2 m deep, in stations that have water, electricity, fuel and other amenities.




Another attraction of Playa Ancon is that, because of its geographical location, allows the visitor to explore the architectural treasures of the nearby town of Trinidad and the natural wonders of the Sierra del Escambray.
