The Samuka Hotel is located on the east coast of Santa Catarina Island, on Conceição Lagoon (50 meters), a paradisiacal place surrounded by hills, dunes, beaches, and lagoons. In the heart of the island, Lagoa da Conceição is a separate universe. The postcard of the city has a water mirror of 19.71 km² surrounded by green hills and a complete structure to support water sports, bars and restaurants. Lagoa da Conceição makes a point of preserving the secular Azorean culture, whether in cooking, folklore or in routine activities such as mullet fishing and the making of billet lace.
